PGA TOUR China’s Inaugural Season Kicks Off At Sandbelt Trails

Tomorrow morning’s opening tee shot will officially mark the beginning of the PGA Tour China’s inaugural season. The “Mission Hills Haikou Open” will be played  from April 17th-20th on the Schmidt-Curley designed Sandbelt Trails golf course, the first of 12 events that will offer the top 5 money leaders a 2015 Web.com Tour Card at the end of the season.

Cheyenne Woods To Play In LPGA Founders Cup At S-C’s Wildfire Golf Course

Following her first major professional tour win at the Ladies Masters in Queensland, Australia, Cheyenne woods has accepted an invite to play in the 2014 LPGA Founders Cup in Scottsdale, Arizona. The tournament will once again be played at Marriott’s Wildfire Golf Club. The event has been hosted on 9 holes of the Schmidt-Curley/ Nick Faldo Designed “Faldo” course and 9 holes of the “Palmer” course, since it was established in 2011. TV coverage begins March 20th at 6:30PM ET on the Golf Channel.

Schmidt-Curley Breaks Into Myanmar!


The new project is the Mandalay Myotha Golf Club which will be located southwest of Mandalay, the last royal capital of Myanmar, widely regarded as the hub of Myanmar’s culture its commercial and business activities. The 8,000 yard, Par 72 layout

will be designed in association with Kyi Hla Han a former professional golfer and executive chairman the Asian Tour. The course design aims to take full advantage of the site’s dramatic terrain, with golf holes playing along deep river canyons and fairways routed through a vast rolling landscape.
